Et Tu Brute? (a poem)

When they’re only concerned about the perspective they don’t agree with, that causes their entire family to turn against you…

You would feel the same heartache I feel and wonder where you went wrong. When the Grayscale covers the memories once shared now in the rear view.

I’m supposed to be the role model, yet you were supposed to be mine. Now I see how you look at me and I wonder why you act like I’ve committed a crime.

I’m not a criminal for speaking my opinions and you aren’t one for speaking yours.

But knowing that you’ve crossed the line that I never would’ve done…

“Beware the ides of March” heard Caesar- before Brutus killed him with a single-shot shotgun.
